Library assistant Theresa Spiteri to be honored at Honors Convocation

One of the library’s own will be honored this Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Honors Convocation: Theresa Spiteri will be recognized for being on the Dean’s List during Fall 2011, and for winning the Jorge Castellanos Award. This is an annual award given to a history major for academic excellence and demonstrated ability in research and writing. Way to go, Theresa!

More about Theresa:

In February, she was accepted into the Master’s program by the School of Information Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.¬† She will begin her studies in September and anticipates graduating with her Master’s in Library and Information Science by the summer of 2014. But she won’t stop there! While working as a reference librarian in an academic library, she plans to pursue a dual Master’s degree and Ph.D. in military history.
